DUI School

If you have been charged with any of the following:

DUI, Drug Possession, Other Drug Offenses, Under-Age Possession of Drugs or Alcohol, Georgia State law requires you to attend a DUI school / Risk Reduction program certified by the Georgia Department of Driver’s Services (DDS) before your driver’s license can be reinstated.

There are three stages to this process:

STAGE 1: THE ASSESSMENT

You must first complete a mandatory Needs Assessment, which is 130 questions about you and your lifestyle. The Assessment takes approximately 35 – 60  minutes and cost $100.00 (Fee is set by Georgia State law).

The Assessments are offered 7 DAYS A WEEK (CONTACT) for an appointment.  Most walk-in times are available!!!

PLEASE NOTE:  If you are unable to take the Assessment during these hours, please contact our office and set up a day and time convenient for you. The Assessment must be completed prior to enrolling in the 20-hour course.

The associated cost is $360 which includes both book material of $25.00 and 20 hours of Classroom Course $235.00

 All payments must be paid in full before attending classes.  NO EXCEPTIONS

PLEASE NOTE:  Lateness to class is not tolerated.  After 9:00 am doors will lock and will not re-open. Please ensure you are in the building 15 minutes prior to ensure that you are on time.  ALSO, you must be on time when returning for lunch.  After 2:00 pm doors will lock and will not re-open. 

Please ensure to be back in the building 10 minutes prior to ensure you are on time. 

 

STAGE 2: THE INTERVENTION

The intervention is the mandatory 20 Hours Classroom DUI Course which is broken into three consecutive days. 

The associated cost is $360 which includes both book material of $25.00 and 20 hours of Classroom Course $235.00

 All payments must be paid in full before attending classes.  NO EXCEPTIONS

STAGE 3: Certificate Of Completion

Upon the completion of class not a minute earlier, certificates of completion will be handed out.

MADD / Victim Impact

Recovery Education Counseling Services Victim Impact Panel allows victim/survivors an opportunity to heal by sharing their personal stories of bereavement, injuries, and loss with an audience of receptive participants.

RECS Victim Impact Panel provides a forum for victims to discuss their devastating emotional, physical, and financial impacts that the incident has had on their lives and those of their families and friends.

Are you court-ordered to attend MADD/VICTIM IMPACT PANEL due to drunk driving or criminal charge?

Are you in need of sharing your hurt or impact you have suffered from a drunk driver or an offender of a criminal act?

  • Are you interested in building partnerships in the community to raise awareness and concerns necessary to assist in preventing future impaired driving crashes and criminal acts?
  • Are you in need of being educated as an offender, justice professional, community stakeholder regarding the consequences of impaired driving and criminal acts?

    I felt that this video was very moving and it provoked an increased sense of accountability for anyone including myself that ever thought about operations a motor vehicle after ingesting any alcoholic beverage.

    Such an impactful video..there are no words to describe the pain that was feeling in the video..the little girl..the wife and unborn baby. And even affected the people who caused the pain.. each lives were forever devastated.. made me realize I could never be the cause to someone else’s pain to that extent.. nor do I want to be the bearer of that pain.. it’s sad all around.. everyone’s lives forever changed in a split second. One bad decision..you can’t take back..

    I was very impacted by this video. I realized that I may have put of people at risk choosing to get behind the wheel after drinking. I vow to never put people at risk like that again
